Fundraising
activities to benefit Catholic schools |

Archbishop's School Fund Dinner |
This activity is held annually in October. Proceeds from the event
benefit the Archbishop's School Fund endowment. An annual distribution
from the fund is given to Catholic schools for tuition assistance for
qualified families. For information about this year's event and to
purchase tickets, contact the Catholic Schools Office at 831-8173. |

Catholic Schools Week |
This national event is the last full week of January and is sponsored by the
National Catholic Educational Association to heighten public awareness of
the important role Catholic schools play in our nation. For more

Legislation Day |
Each year, a
representation of Catholic school educators, parents, and students gathers
at the state capitol to celebrate Legislation Day, which is part of our
activities in honor of the national celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
This event takes place annually during the last week of January.

Character Counts! Recognition Dinner |
This is an annual dinner to honor a student and an adult from each school
who have exhibited through their character a strong commitment to Christian
values. Each year, sponsors are needed to underwrite the costs of this
event. |

Catholic Faith Challenge Bowl |
This annual activity is similar to a geography bee and is held in May.
Seven students from each school (elementary and middle
school divisions) compete by answering questions about the Catholic faith,
doctrine, liturgy, prayer and sacraments, and the lives of saints. The
top three schools receive a medal and a trophy. All participants
receive a ribbon and certificate. |
