Consider this…

My child, remember my teachings and instructions and obey them completely.  They will help you live a long and prosperous life.  Let love and loyalty always show like a necklace, and write them in your mind.  God and people will like you and consider your a success.
With all your heart you must trust the Lord and not you own judgment.  Always let Him lead you, and He will clear the road for you to follow.

Proverbs 3:1-6

Mission Statement
The mission of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe is the fulfillment of the educational ministry of the Roman Catholic Church.  Its primary goal is the ongoing formation of the Christian person and aims to develop the individual's spiritual, intellectual, social, cultural and physical endowments.

To qualify to be called a "Catholic" school, Canon Law stipulates:

Catholic school students participate in the Sacraments.

That school is considered to be Catholic which ecclesiastical authority or a public ecclesiastical juridic person supervises or which ecclesiastical authority recognizes as such by means of a written document.  Even if it really be Catholic, no school may bear the title "Catholic School" without the consent of the competent ecclesiastical authority.  Canon 803, §1, §3.

Philosophy of Catholic Education
Through its educational ministry, the Catholic school works together with the parents, who are the primary educators of their children, and endeavors to assist each student in the harmonious development of his/her spiritual, physical, moral and intellectual endowments.  The school strives to provide an atmosphere of Catholic community, integrating religion and life, so that the student may "...experience learning and living fully integrated in the light of faith."  To Teach as Jesus Did, ¶103.

Good character must be restored to its historical place as a central desirable outcome of the [education] enterprise.  It is inadequate and irresponsible merely to concentrate on raising academic standards.  Raising our moral standards will be the greatest gift we can give America's children.
